J.ONE Jelly Pack- What is it and is it Worth it??
Whether you’ve seen it on Korean skincare websites and reviews, in very recent you tubers videos, or even on the shelf at Sephora- many people are now seeing J One Jelly Pack in its sleek and mysterious bottle.
But what is it exactly? A primer? An overnight mask? Yes to all.
First of all, this stuff makes some intense primer. It’s tacky sticky icky. I’ve never let a texture like it before, especially in a skincare item. With that being said, it will grab onto your makeup and keep it in place alllll day long. It also provides a dewiness to your skin and an instant lift and firmness, probably due to the tackiness- so make up you apply in a lifting motion.
My issue with is it the heaviness. I like me makeup to feel lightweight. I don’t like feeling a mask of makeup on my face- which this does somewhat. It’s maybe just the tightness and lifting to the skin I feel, so I have mixed emotions over it.
I do need to point out this did not have the pore smoothing I was hoping for- I have some major pores that need individualized attention. It did overall smooth the texture of my skin. I think people with dry skin would like this more than us oily monsters- its didn’t add oil, but it did not stop the oil.
As for using the J One as a night mask- it does a good job plumping the skin and making an overnight change in the appearance of your skin. My thinking is though- why not add this goodness to your face during the day so you can hit your face with a different sleeping mask at night?
